Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the contract was concluded (for services) or on which you receive the goods (for physical products).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter by post or email) to: Fotowaschbaer, Franz Robert Berger, Feldstrasse 32, 9445 Rebstein, Switzerland, or [email protected].

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, Fotowaschbaer voluntarily extends similar cancellation rights to Swiss customers as described below.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following:

• Digital content (photos) after the download link has been delivered, as you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your right of withdrawal at the time of purchase (Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU)
• Custom or personalized products made to your specifications
• Service contracts after the service has been fully performed, if you gave your prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract was fully performed (Art. 16(a) Directive 2011/83/EU)

Cancellation policies for photography sessions and events are defined individually per service and are displayed during the booking process. These service-specific cancellation policies apply in addition to your statutory rights. Please review the cancellation terms for your specific service before booking.

As a general guideline, cancellations made well in advance of the scheduled date are more likely to receive a full refund. For specific terms, refer to the service's cancellation policy shown during booking.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal or are entitled to a refund under the applicable cancellation policy, we will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. The refund will be issued via the original payment method (Stripe). No fees will be charged for the refund.
